One of the best things about blogging is the excitement engendered by the discovery of a new blog. I recently stumbled across Apple Tree, written by Isabel in Lisbon and was really charmed by her pinhole camera project. This Portuguese photographer is running pinhole camera courses in Lisbon where she shows her students how to transform old boxes, tin cans or containers lying around the house into pinhole cameras. This kind of photography is fascinating, the imperfections beg you for a second lingering glance and can make you see the surrounding area in a whole new light. Just take a look at some of the results so far (and then email her to book your place on her next course!).

thanks so much!!
