One of my friends recently remarked that she'd like to learn traditional Portuguese crochet because she thought that the art was dying out. The sheer number of crafting blogs in existance would beg to differ but I still agree with the sentiment. It's something I'd love to do, if only so that I could make crochet wallpaper for a room in my house. I was inspired by Katie Holten's installation - it's in a museum but I can't help feeling that this idea would translate well to a bedroom or entrance hall.
