A birdhouse with a difference: Luis Porem

Portuguese designer Luis Porem of weird-yet-cool glasses fame has just finished off a modern bird house. He said he got his inspiration after a local sparrow dropped by his window but declined to stay. “When you next visit I’ll have a place to receive you!” he thought. Thus the APA was born. Designed to welcome small birds that are passing through and want shelter for a while, it's ceramic with metal branches and can be hung, affixed to a wall, mounted on a stick of put on a shelf. Nifty, don't you think?
