Nom nom nom: Sugared almonds

I'm taking a short break from blogging but I'll be back on Saturday. Until then, I leave you with sugared almonds, the sweet treat Portuguese children are traditionally given at Easter (although chocolate eggs larger than the average chicken are making their way down to us too). They're one of the many reasons I'm so glad to be spending Easter at home in Cascais! That and the fact that Lisbon has so many pretty spots for me to try out my new camera. Nikon, baby! Woot!

  1. Hello there, lovely site! Do you know where to get sugared almonds in the Algarve at this time of the year? My niece is getting married in Alvor soon and is trying to find some here for the tables.
    Many thanks
    Dianne
