When I was little we used to take family holidays with all of my aunts, uncles and cousins where we'd go to the country for the weekend. The house didn't have a TV until about ten years ago so the evenings were spent talking, playing cards and, for a while when we got addicted, my cousins and I all started embroidering. It was an obsession - we refused to leave home without our little kits. It all died out and I'm sorry that I didn't keep it up because seeing pretty work like Rosa e Chocolate's makes me wish I could do this kind of thing myself! Isabel Freire sells her work in her Etsy shop but make sure you take a look at her Flickr stream - well worth stopping by!
Got something you'd like me to look at, consider or review? Or just want my recipe for the ultimate Amaretto Sour? Either way, leave me a comment or send me an email.
