Is it a chopstick? Is it a fork? No, it's super chopstick-fork!
How cool is this? Forget having separate cutlery and chopstick sets - this one is the two combined! No longer will your guests have to ask you for a fork if they don't feel that they can manage the chopsticks you've provided! The Centro Português Design (Portuguese centre for design) published a book a couple of years ago in an attempt to highlight some of the most talented product designers in Portugal. My favourite item was Talher 02, designed by Jose Manuel Carvalho Araújo. It's a witty comment on today's cosmopolitan gastronomy. Held one way, they're the conventional Western knife and fork; held the other way round, they're chopsticks. The utensils are produced by PAL Design - although sadly I can't find anywhere they're still in stock.
