The dress Rapunzel wore..but not for long (the hussy!)
Rapunzel's dress is a piece by Portuguese product designer Rute Gomes and is easily one of the most original concepts I've seen for a long time. Instead of letting down your hair, the dress (made out of a six meter long piece of material) allows you to perform a short striptease for the prince of your choice by unwinding it from around your body before turning into a ladder made of fabric that he can use to climb up to your balcony. A considerable improvement on the letting down of hair of days of yore - you can't tell me that the resulting headache wouldn't have killed the mood once he got to the top! Her pieces can apparently be bought at Bomba Amor but the website is one of the most user-unfriendly I've ever seen and it's almost impossible to figure out how to order so I'd suggest you contact Rute directly through her website.
