Black and white striped rooms

There are a lot of reasons that I feel lucky to have found the Boyfriend. He can always make me laugh, he looks good in a towel, I feel completely comfortable with him, he makes a mean teapig, he's just as obsessed with zombies as I am, we can talk about anything, he looks after me and puts up with both my owl fixation and with me when I'm all gooey with happiness and emotion, like today. But one of the best things about him is how sweet he is. He surprised me the other day with a large bucket of Farrow and Ball red paint. Not exactly a traditional present but given that it means he intends to paint the guest room my favourite colour, it made me beam. So I'm going to ignore red completely here and instead post a couple of black and white striped room ideas I've been hoarding for a while. I love the bold modernity and the way in which you can choose any accent colour you like - definitely something I'd like to try somewhere in the new house.
