Part of living in London is getting used to pigeons. They're often seen as a London icon but until you get here you don't realise that they are literally everywhere. I don't know anyone that hasn't had at least one near miss with a low-flying pigeon brushing by their heads at speed (and I know a couple of people that have suffered feathery collisions!). Given that they're generally seen as rats with wings, I'm a bit perturbed that I'm strangely attracted to these Pigeon Lights by Thorsten Van Elten. £59 might be a bit much to pay to have one of these perched on your headboard but still...there's just something about them...
