I've got a bit of a crush (on a city) at the moment. Living in the capital can make you forget how fabulous it actually is. It's worth pausing every now and then (though preferably not in the middle of Oxford Circus where you're likely to cause a pile-up behind you) and taking a look around the streets of London to remind yourself why so many people travel so far to see it. So imagine my joy when I found the Taschen LONDON book on sale in TK Maxx in Birmingham for a very reasonable £18. It's packed full of gorgeous photographs of the most iconic rastaurants, hotels and shops and an ideal way to leave a hint about the ones you'd like to visit (leave it open at the appropriate page on the coffee table!)
